In 2012, Colonial commenced a partnership with the Bionics Institute that will see the Foundation committing a substantial amount over a six-year period.
Colonial entered a four-year grant partnership with DOXA, with funding directed to support young people, aged 13 to 14 years and studying Years 7 and 8 at disadvantaged state and independent secondary schools, transition to secondary school.

Over 5.5 million Australians over 50 have poor bone health with more than 165,000 bone fractures occurring in 2018. Bone fractures are the most significant consequence of osteoporosis. Only 20% of people who come to medical attention with a ‘minimal trauma’ fracture are investigated for osteoporosis.

The Haven Foundation
During 2019, Colonial Foundation continued its support of The Haven Foundation by contributing $500,000 to assist in the purchase of a new property in Laverton, Victoria. The property will be used to construct a 16 bed fully self-contained Haven Home
